Motivated and serious, I know how to adjust to different work environments. My senses of organisation and diplomacy allow me to be at ease alone or in a team, as well as dealing with authors, clients, colleagues or intermediaries. A two-month internship in Ireland’s largest independent bookstore also helped me use my English studies in a professional environment. I then participated in the organization of the festival Les Rendez-vous de l'histoire in Blois, before I worked as an Editorial Assistant for Les Éditions Édélios and Lextenso. Thus, I was in charge of the relationship with authors as well as projects management.

I've loved reading since I was little! To me, books are like doors leading to other worlds, and I like to escape in those worlds for the time of a chapter or two. Today, I read as much in English as I do in French, with a preference for the original versions, as I enjoy discovering a text just like its author thought it. My favorite genres are those of the imaginary : fantasy, science-fiction, fantastic, etc. but I'm not very difficult, any good story will suit me. I also took part in a reading panel, which is how I confirmed my desire to work in the publishing area.
I've always loved to write. I needed to use that overflowing imagination of mine! Stories, letters, lists, don't leave me with blank paper. Nowadays, I'm just as passionate about proofreading, correcting, and doing my best to help ready any text for publishing.
Just like with books, I like many different things, whether on the big of the small screen. Though I admit I prefer English productions, with a special taste for blockbusters, I try to keep an open mind about every genre and style.
I never liked sports at school, but I reconnected with my motivation during college and found the activities I enjoyed. And now I can barely stop! Running, biking, fitness, dance... If being stuck at home gave me one thing, it is the need and desire to get back into (and keep in) shape!
Growing up in a small village, I've always liked to travel, either by pages, screen, or for real. My last adventures took me to Dublin, Ireland, where I found a new home away from home for the time I was there. English speaking countries are the most appealing to me, mostly because I love the language and the feeling my Bachelor's Degree is put to good use. But I am naturally curious, so I keep an open mind for the rest of the World. Next stop? Scotland, I hope.
Once in a while, I like to get out of my personnal bubble to spend time with my family and friends, with a drink, a good meal, a movie, or even a party of laser game or escape game... it doesn't matter, as long as we're all having fun!
